About Me

A lot has happened in my personal life while I have been here at USC! I really thought the college thing would be a lot better and easier for me than it has been. I have learned a lot and I will apply all of that to the future!

Major happenings of the semester:

First of all, back in September, not long after school started, I had trouble with my roommate- who was a friend from highschool. It was temporarily resolved.

The week of my birthday I was sick- which sucked! Then, some things happened which brought me and my old roomie closer and then back apart again.

On the 23rd of Dec, not long after my birthday and the morning after I had my first clubing experience, I received a phone call from my mother informing me of the death of my Great Grandfather in Chicago. I left school that night and flew to Chicago with my family over the weekend. The wake was on Tuesday from 2pm- 9pm and the Funeral was on Wed. I flew back the next day to care for my little brother who was left behind and then returned to school that weekend. That was a rough week.

After that, things were okay. They were really busy for me- trying to get caught up- work- and extra things I became involved in. Then, things with me and my old roomie weren't going good again. I don't know what started it exactly, but it snowballed into no one speaking to each other and dirty looks- it wasn't a good situation and it crashed our friendship. (well aparently, she never liked me, but she fooled me if that really is true) It was kinda sad, but I moved out- and it was like a ton was lifted off of my shoulders.

Now, I am at the Roost living with Heidi! It has worked out really well- and I am very happy to have a nice roommate. We are on the same track, and she is a wonderful influence to have.

Oh, I forgot about my fish, Rae Rae. She is the best fish ever, the only thing that will make me happy no matter what! She is crazy! She can't just swim with her tail and fins, she uses her head too. And her mouth is constantly going- like she is cussing someone out all of the time. She is really really playful- moving the rocks around, playing with the lilly pad that floats in her bowl, or following my finger. (I can get her to swim backwards!) She does that sometimes on her own, and swims sideways and upsidedown. (That one scared me a lot when she first started it- which was the day of the Carolina Clemson game) Anyway, I have the coolest fish ever! I love my Rae Rae! All I need to do is find a boy fish- then... i can drop out of school and breed fish for a living- haha...
