During this semester, I have stayed very busy with school, extra activities, but I have still been able to hold down a job!

My old RA, Mandy, told me about the Desk Assistant position.  I applied online and interviewed for the position!  They called me later to say I did get the job at The Roost.  I started out working a full 20 hours a week, but after people have quit or been let go I am up to 29 on some weeks.  Around the holidays we are aloud to work up to 40 hours which is fine with me!  I like to have down time, but while I work at the desk, I get a lot of homework done!  If it wasn't for work I wouldn't have studied as much, written as many letters, or called my family as often.  It is a great job- I mean, I have responsibilities, but on the average day- I just sit there- talk to people- and do my work.  And get paid for it!!!  :)

When I go home for the holidays, or any time I get a chance, I spend a lot of time with family and some time with children!  I babysit a lot-

I started when I was 12, watching Johnny and Dale.  It is wonderful to have a family away from my family to go to.  I love the children.  If anything were to happen to their mother, I would be honored to care for them! (They are the children of the woman who resembled Lauren so much.)

Another family has 5 children.  I have only been with them for a few years, but I am faily close to all of them as well.  There are 5 of them ranging from 1 1/2 - 8 years old.

Childcaring has helped me decide that I want to have children!- As many as I can afford!  I think that is why I am so ready to get college over with - I am ready to get started!  I have my whole life ahead of me, but... I want to start it now!  My mother had me when she was 16- i love the relationship we have.  But... the time will come, when its time.  Until then I will just try to get ready for that time. :)

And it goes on and on...
