I always take on way more than I can handle, but somehow... I get it all done!

This semester I took the following classes:

Math 111I:  I really thought this class would be easy, but it has kicked my butt all semester!  I spend and hour in the class and then two or more hours in tutoring a day 4 times a week.  (And, I am taking it pass fail!  I don't understand why I am having such a hard time with it)

German 121:  I like German, just like everything else!  I like it all, but I am just not good at it all.  German is coming around though.  I am doing fairly well, and I have decided to go all of the way with it!  I plan to go to Germany to study within the next year.

Psychology 226:  Well, I think this is one of the classes that will make psych majors change their major!  Again, I like it, but it's hard!  I am not so interested in the experiments... but I know I will need the information as I go on in Psychology.

English 101:  I think I have the best English teacher ever.  She really makes you think, and has helped my writing a lot even if she goes about it in a strange way and has ended the lives of 5487million trees.  I have learned something I will carry with me for a long time from this class!

University 101:  This class is unique!  It is small and everyone knows of everyone else.  I think we are a pretty involved group.  I like the open conversations and the speakers that come in.  It is more interesting and not a dread to come to!  It also has helped to have my advisor as the teacher- I enjoyed that a lot!

Next semester I am taking:
Philosophy 102, German 122, English 102, Psych 227, and Psych 440.  So far I hope that Phil will be easy.  I plan to have to work hard in German- struggle with psych 227 and read myself to death in English.  I am really really excited about Psychology 440- the teacher seems to be on top of it!  I have already received blackboard messages and seen the syllabus!

This semester I became involved in hall government.  I started out living in Bates House.  I ran for Exec. Programming Chair and got it (I was the only one that ran)-haha!  It went okay, but it is hard.  I am studying or in tutoring all of the time- or working... so keeping up with gov't is rough.  When I moved out of Bates, I was suposed to leave gov't too.  But, I couldn't just do that- I left on the spot one day, and there wasn't anyone willing to replace me, so I have stuck around to help out and ween myself out of the position until the end of this semester.  I also became invovled with the nearly non-existant gov't over in The Roost.  I have a lot of ideas, I just hope I get some time to get them going soon!

And it goes on and on...
